Bachelor Degree in Accounting with excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Work experience as an Accountant
Must have good knowledge of operating Accounting software packages
Must be able to employ analytics to create meaningful management reports on a timely basis
Knowledge in accounting software & MS Office packages
Good knowledge of Nepalese Taxation System
Should have good interpersonal and communication skills
Must have strong knowledge of Banking processes in order to perform the duties
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Must be proficient in the use of English and Nepali language – both spoken and written
Job Description
Complete handling of day to day accounting work
Preparing periodic reports for management
Prepare monthly payroll and disburse the salary & preparation of monthly reports
Documentation and file management related to Accounts Department
Corresponding with banks and Tax Offices as per requirement
Maintaining and verification of different financial registers maintained by organization
Follow-up for payments and outstanding
Reconciliation of Bank Statements, Debtors & Creditors on periodic basis
Prepare cheque with authorization for payment and proper coordination with bank regarding fund transfers
Liaising with the auditors during the audits
Back up of other Accounts Department's staff in their absence
Any additional work given by seniors as and when required
